Bohning’s AR1000 Material is Bohning’s original vane material that provides for excellent adhesion and durability, while being extremely forgiving for any potential contact.
All Bohning vanes are pre-primed and do not require vane cleaning or pen primers. We recommend BlazerBond® or Fletch Fuse® adhesives for best adhesion.
3″ & 4″ Bronco Vanes™
The 3″ and 4″ Bronco® Vanes are an incredibly versatile vane. We recommend them for compound and recurve archers shooting indoor spots, and the 3″ is NASP approved.
The 3″ Bronco Vane performed exceedingly well on crossbow bolts during Bohning’s comprehensive field testing, and for traditional archers looking for a profile similar to feathers but with superior durability, the 3″ Bronco Vane is a great option! The 3″ (76.2mm) Bronco Vane measures 0.45″ (11.4mm) in height and weighs an average of 8.5 grains (389mg).
The 4″ Bronco measures 4″ (101.6mm) in length and 0.52″ (13.2mm) in height, and weighs an average of 12.5 grains (810 mg).Like all Bohning vanes, it is great for indoor compound archery and traditional archers looking for a profile similar to feathers but with superior durability..
