Maintenance Technician

The Bohning Company, located northeast of Lake City, MI, is looking for a long-term employee to join our Maintenance Team.  Position is responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities and equipment, ensuring everything operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities include general maintenance of buildings, grounds and production equipment, troubleshooting issues that arise and performing repairs to prevent equipment failures and maintain efficiencies, collaboration with staff and outside contractors to coordinate repairs and improvements, fabrication and development of new and/or improved processes, etc.

Qualifications include prior maintenance experience with technical skills such as mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Robotics, welding and fabrication experience are all a plus.

Applicants must be dependable, show up to work on time, have good communication skills, both written and oral, get along well with others, able work well as a team and alone and have a desire to learn from current experienced team. Must be able to pass a drug test.

Hours are currently 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.  Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401(k).
