How much thinner do I need to add to my dipping paint?
- There is not a specific amount of thinner we can tell you to add. Always start adding thinner in small increments. Paint should run freely from the end of the arrow shaft for at least 15 seconds before it starts dripping droplets. 15 to 20 seconds is a good rule of thumb. If the paint runs from less than 15 seconds the paint is too thin, which can be corrected by leaving the top off the container to allow the solvents to evaporate. If the paint runs longer than 20 seconds, it is too thick and should be thinned with Bohning Fletch-Lac Thinner.
